Gothic Gorjuss

Here's my last card of the day:

This card is for the following challenges:

I used the Papermania Capsule Collection for the papers and added the red with a Spectrum Noir pen. The Gorjuss girl is coloured with these also. The flowers are from Heidi Grace and the pearls are from my local craft shop, which is where the lace also comes from. The swirls are cut with a Marianne's die.

This card is for the following challenges:

This card is made using papers, sticker words and card from the DCWV Summer Collection. The flip flops are from my crafting stash that I had forgotten I had they are by a company called Paper Bliss. (Although I don't remember where I got them from).

Now I'm off to use my new Gorjuss stamps that came in the post yesterday!!!

This card is made using a Magnolia image which I coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. All the patterned papers are from the Trimcraft Love Letters Paper Collection as is the tag. I used spellbinder dies for the circles and a Martha Stewart punch for the butterfly. The buttons are from the Papermania Capsule Collection. The flowers and swirls dies are from the Marianne's Die Cut Collections.

Sporty Card

Just a couple of quick entries for today. The first card is for my Father's Birthday in August:

This card is for the following challenges:

The greeting sticker, image and papers are all from the DoCrafts Me To You range and the card blank is from Papermania. The blue buttons come from my local craft shop, Sew Simple which is worth a trip by anyone that lives in the Norwich area as they have lots of bits and bobs in both card making, sewing and haberdashery amongst others.

Birthday Fairie

Here's another challenge entry this time using one of my favourite Magnolia stamps:

This card is for the following challenges:

  • Recipe (1 Ribbon, 2 Images, 3 Patterned Papers, 4 Embellishments) - Dutch Dare

The materials I used for this card are; the papers are from a Heidi Grace Collection called Heidi's Cute Cakes. I just love these papers and although you can't see it in the photo they are texted and some of them are flocked and flittered. They are lovely to use. The flowers are from the first Fizzy Moon collection and the Shimmer dots in the centre are from Papermania. Lastly the ribbon is a recycled piece off a box of Thorntons chocolates I was given by the Grandmother of one of the children that I look after. Yummy and useful! :)

Handmade Flowers For The First Time

Hi Everyone,

I've been gone from the blog for a little while but now I'm back. I have a new job which allows me more time with my cards which is great as the job only pays for my crafting stash anyway!!! ;)

This card is using my new Marianne's flower and leaf dies. I have seen dies like this and other similar ones used a lot recently and wanted to give them a try. It took a bit of practice and I definitely need a faster drying glue but I'm fairly pleased with the results.

This card is for the following challenges:

The materials used are Spectrum Noir pens, the jewels are from Papermania. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the papers are from the Spring DCWV set of papers that I bought from QVC in a great box set with two draws full of bits and bobs. the flowers and leaves are from the Marianne set of dies.
