Handmade Flowers For The First Time

Hi Everyone,

I've been gone from the blog for a little while but now I'm back. I have a new job which allows me more time with my cards which is great as the job only pays for my crafting stash anyway!!! ;)

This card is using my new Marianne's flower and leaf dies. I have seen dies like this and other similar ones used a lot recently and wanted to give them a try. It took a bit of practice and I definitely need a faster drying glue but I'm fairly pleased with the results.


This card is for the following challenges:




The materials used are Spectrum Noir pens, the jewels are from Papermania. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the papers are from the Spring DCWV set of papers that I bought from QVC in a great box set with two draws full of bits and bobs. the flowers and leaves are from the Marianne set of dies.

    This is really stunning Mia! I love the colours and the image is coloured beautifully. I had trouble with sticking this kind of flower together until I got a heated glue gun - these babies have fast drying glue!!
